Raised on the island of Guam, COL White first joined the Army in 1981 after graduating from high school. During his enlisted years as an infantryman, he served with the 9th Infantry, 8th Infantry, and 10th Mountain Divisions respectively.

COL White separated from the Army in 1988 to attend the University of Guam where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1993 with degrees in Accounting and Management. COL White then sought higher education and earned his Master’s in Business Administration in 1996 prior to returning to active duty. During COL White’s period of institutional schooling, he continued to serve the nation and his home as a member of the Guam Army National Guard as an infantry platoon leader, a company Executive Officer, and the Battalion S-4.

Upon returning to active duty, COL White attended the Finance Officer’s Basic Course at Fort Jackson, SC, graduating in December 1996 at the top of his class. Following the Finance Officer’s Basic Course, COL White served with the 39th Finance Battalion as the Chief of Military Pay, Deputy Disbursing Officer (in support of Operation Joint Guard), and the commander of A Detachment, 39th Finance Battalion in Darmstadt, Germany.

Following his assignment with the 39th Finance Battalion, COL White attended the Finance Captains’ Career Course before returning to Germany to work travel and military pay policy at the 266th Finance Command. COL White then assumed his second command, taking charge of Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 208th Finance Bn–the largest MTOE finance detachment within the U.S. Army Europe at that time.

In April 2003, COL White moved on to serve as the Group Comptroller for the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). During this time, COL White deployed to Iraq as the CJSOTF-AP J-8. Immediately upon redeploying, COL White was assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) at Fort Campbell, KY where he served as the Deputy Comptroller and the Regiment Comptroller. Before leaving Fort Campbell, COL White served as the Assistant Chief of Staff G-8 for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Following his Fort Campbell tour, COL White dual-hatted as Chief, Program and Management Division and as the Banking and Credit Union Liaison Officer for the greater Stuttgart community. Prior to deploying, COL White was assigned to US Army Central (ARCENT), serving as the Chief of Management and Audit Readiness. COL White now serves as the Director, 266th Financial Management Support Center.
