Command Sgt. Maj. T.J. Holland

JMRC Command Sergeant Major

Command Sgt. Maj. T.J. Holland enlisted as an infantryman in the U.S. Army on Nov. 9, 1994, in Lancaster, Ohio. He attended Infantry One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. He has served in every leadership position in the infantry from team leader to command sergeant major.

His previous assignments include: 3/504th P.I.R., 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 1-508th IN (ABN), 173rd ABCT, Vicenza, Italy; 5th Ranger Training Battalion, Dahlonega, Georgia; 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Rose Barracks, Germany; U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas; U.S. Army Parachute Team "Golden Knights," Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and the and the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. His deployments include Joint Task Force Liberia; Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF I); Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF VI and OEF X-XI).

His military schools and education consist of: Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, First Sergeants Course, U.S. Army Sergeants Major Course, Army Force Management Course, Battle Staff Noncommissioned Officers Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Ranger School, Jumpmaster School, Tactics Certification Course, Total Army Instructor Training, Pathfinder School, and Mountain Warfare School. He holds an Associate in Arts in General Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Health Sciences (Pre-Sports Medicine) from the American Military University, and a Graduates Certificate in Mediation.
