U.S. Army Europe Best Junior Officer Competition Announced
The winners for the Best Warrior and Junior Officer Competition were announced during an award luncheon, Aug. 16.
First Lt. Jeremy Gilbert, 2nd Cavalry Regiment and a Jackson, N.J. native, earned his title after competing with 11 other junior officers, July 23 through 27.
Junior officers from units across U.S. Army Europe vied for the honor of being named USAREUR’s Best Junior Officer for 2012 in a five-day competition in Grafenwoehr, Germany, July 23-27.
