Served as the Director of Operations reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of a $75M business unit. Responsible for integrating all levels of business activities from business develop, proposal preparation, and bid pricing to daily program, financial and quality assurance actions. Executed oversight of all program manager activities, assured compliance with all corporate and Governmental policies and laws, and conducted financial and risk management reviews with senior corporate management and audit agencies.
Served as the Program Manager of a $34M Department of Defense contract task entitled the Joint Logistics Warfighting Initiative (JLWI). This OSD project was designed to improve readiness by enhancing logistics responsiveness through the insertion of new and emerging technologies and business process improvements. This capability was used in OIF/OEF for a 3 year period. |

Chief of Staff of a strategic logistics unit with over 8,000 military and civilian personnel providing multifunctional logistics support to the U.S. Army Europe and other U.S. agencies. Directed a staff of over 250 Soldiers and civilians in the full range of tactical and administrative disciplines required for operational success. Developed and executed an annual budget of over $300 million. Directed the reengineering, standardizing, and downsizing of organizations to include redesign of systems and operational concepts. |

US Army Europe (Forward) & US V Corps, G4 Principal logistics planner, coordinator and advisor for the Commander, US Army Europe & 7th Army and the Commander, US V Corps for Operation Joint Endeavor, the NATO (Combined/Joint) peace keeping mission to Bosnia. Supported over 26,000 Soldiers including Navy, Air Force and Special Operations personnel. Directed campaign planning and operational functions to provide logistical and installation support services during the preparation, deployment, and execution of the Bosnian mission, a period of 14 months. Maintained a high state of Soldier and equipment readiness in over a 100 military units in 3 Balkan countries. Supervised logistics support contract execution that included base operations services valued at over $500 million and a total logistics budget of over $800 million. |

USAREUR & 7th Army, Commander, 200th Theater Army Materiel Management Center Commander of the senior material management center in U.S. Army Europe that was comprised of over 350 military and civilian personnel. Provided supply and maintenance management, inventory control, and distribution management support as well as readiness assessments for U.S. Army Europe. Directed the reutilization, retrograde or sale to foreign militaries of more than 370 40-foot containers of repair parts and general supplies, 86,000 tons of ammunition, and 1,200 major combat system items and ancillary equipment. Executed an operating budget of over $35 million, managed an inventory valued at over $1 billion, and directed a major equipment component repair and reutilization program of over $200 million with $800 million in annual expenditures and cash flow. |

USAREUR & 7th Army, Commander, 53rd Area Support Group Directly responsible for a staff of more than 2,700 Soldiers and US and local national civilians that operated 3 major military communities. Executed an annual budget of over $145 million in providing a full range of support to over 32,000 Soldiers, civilians and their families. Provided work, living and recreational facilities and developed engineering plans and programs for the construction and renovation of facilities, roads, utilities and training areas. Operated a “for profit” system of morale and welfare activities with its own annual budget of $14 million. |

US Army XVIIIth Airborne Corps, Deputy Commander, 1st Corps Support Command & then Commander, XVIIIth Airborne Corps (Forward) Served in both capacities simultaneously as the senior Corps officer in Saudi Arabia upon the departure of the Corps Deputy Commander during Operation Desert Farewell. Commanded over 12,000 Soldiers conducting equipment retrograde and personnel redeployment operations during operation Desert Storm/Shield. |
