U.S. Army Europe Total Army Sponsorship Program

Sponsorship is for everyone coming to U.S. Army Europe - Soldiers, civilians and family members. The best way to start your tour is to get a sponsor early and connect with them often.


Driving Information

Did you know you can take your driving test for a U.S. Army Europe license before you depart? 

  1. Begin with the Practice Test
  2. Then take the Driver's Training and Test online (CAC required)
  • Enroll and take USA-007 “U.S. Forces Driver’s Training Program for Europe (2 hrs)”
  • Enroll and take the exam USA-007-B “U.S. Forces Driver’s Training Program for Europe – Final Course Exam (2 hrs)”
  • Once you've passed the exam print out your certificate and present it to the licensing office when you in-process.

STEP Registration

ALL DoD personnel in Europe must register for the Department of State's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)a free service that allows U.S. citizens traveling and living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
