US Army Europe and Africa Best Squad Winners: 2nd Cavalry Regiment and V Corps Best Squad Team

Congratulations to the VCORPS (4-2CR) team: Spc. Reynoso Ruiz, Spc. Devin Schallert, Staff Sgt. Seth Peaton, Sgt. James Tranchina, and Pfc. Samuel Vittitow with the 4th Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment and V Corps.
They’ve earned the title of U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s BEST SQUAD! These outstanding Soldiers demonstrated incredible skill and camaraderie. Representing excellence and teamwork, they're heading to the Army Best Squad Competition at Fort Bragg (Oct 2-15).

Final Score Board Update!

V Corps (4-2 CR) currently holds the lead, but the top three are separated by inches! A tie for fifth place keeps everyone in the mix as we head into the final day of events. It’s still anyone’s game! Stay tuned for the final standings on Thursday, August 28th!

After the Army Combat Fitness Test and small arms ranges, 7th Army Training Command holds the lead. V Corps has moved into second place, while 21st Theater Sustainment Command and 2nd Signal Brigade are climbing the standings. With seven days and multiple challenging events ahead, every squad remains in the fight for the title of USAREUR-AF Best Squad!
