Observer Coach Trainer Teams
Mission
The JMRC Observer Coach Trainer (OCT) teams provide coaching, teaching, mentoring and After Action Reviews (AAR) to training units. OCTs also provide exercise coaching and manual adjudication of instrumentation systems, and assist the training unit chain of command in enforcing safety and mitigating risk. OCTs provide informal and formal feedback through doctrinally correct AARs from platoon through Brigade Combat Team level using the JMRC Instrumentation System and written take-home packages.
