HEIDELBERG, Germany -- “Think about it. Vigilance begins with you.” That’s the catchphrase of a new U.S. Army Europe online information campaign designed to increase awareness of real and virtual threats to the security of members of the U.S. forces community in Europe.

The primary vehicle for the campaign is a USAREUR Web page that gathers information and resources from experts in antiterrorism and force protection, operational security, and information assurance under the umbrella of vigilance as a means of encouraging U.S. forces members to remain alert to potential threats and to provide tools and tips for recognizing and managing risks. The page offers a variety of print, video and audio information and training materials. The site also links to USAREUR social media sites, where additional resources will be available and users are encouraged to share their feedback, information and personal vigilance anecdotes.
