HEIDELBERG, Germany -- U.S. Army Europe’s senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. David S. Davenport Sr., will take to the airwaves starting today to communicate with USAREUR Soldiers.

“Straight from the CSM,” a two-minute prerecorded radio show, will air on AFN’s Morning News Watch and throughout the day every Wednesday on AFN’s PowerNet.

Each week, Davenport – sometimes along with a guest subject matter expert – will address hot topics that impact on USAREUR Soldiers. Upcoming topics include personnel matters, retention changes, and sponsorship.

In addition to airing on AFN radio, listeners can find links to the shows on AFN’s web site; Davenport’s Facebook site; and his blog site.
