HEIDELBERG, Germany -- Want to know who some of the best Soldiers in U.S. Army Europe are? The answers are just a few mouse clicks away.

Each week starting April 2, U.S. Army Europe’s senior enlisted advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. David S. Davenport Sr., will profile one of USAREUR’s best assets – its outstanding Soldiers –on his Facebook page and the USAREUR website.

“USAREUR has so many great Soldiers who are making outstanding contributions to not only our mission, but in their communities as well. I wanted a way to recognize each of them publicly,” said Davenport. “These are Soldiers who are just doing a great job and living the Army values.”

Each Soldier will be nominated by his or her unit for the weekly feature that will include the Soldier’s photo, some biographical such as the Soldier’s job title, hometown and a brief summary of what makes the Soldier outstanding.

Leaders who would like to recommend a Soldier for the honor can submit their recommendation through their unit NCO support channel.
