Bills selected as next 4th Infantry Division deputy commander

HEIDELBERG, Germany -- The Chief of Staff of the Army announced that Brig. Gen. Michael A. Bills, U.S. Army Europe's deputy chief of staff for operations (G3), has been selected for assignment as deputy commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) at Fort Carson, Colo.

Bills has served as USAREUR G3 since September 2011. His arrival date in Colorado is unknown at this time.
