Piatt selected to head Joint Multinational Training Command

HEIDELBERG, Germany -- The Chief of Staff of the Army announced that Brig. Gen. Walter E. Piatt, deputy commanding general for support, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y., has been selected for assignment as commanding general of U.S. Army Europe's Joint Multinational Training Command.

Piatt has served with the 10th Mountain Division since June 2012. His arrival date in Europe is unknown at this time.
