U.S. Army Europe welcomes new Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations

WIESBADEN, Germany – U.S. Army Europe welcomed its new Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Brig. Gen. Darryl A. Williams, June 24, 2013. 

Williams’ previous assignment was the deputy commander of the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea.  He replaced the previous Chief of Staff of for Operations, Brig. Gen. Michael Bills, who is currently serving as the deputy commander, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.

Williams was previously assigned to U.S. Army Europe as the commander of the division artillery for 1st Armored Division from August 2005 to May 2007.
