WIESBADEN, Germany -- The U.S. Army Europe Consolidated Intelligence Center (CIC) is being constructed here as part of the consolidation of U.S. military facilities in Europe that has been under way over the past decade. It will allow us to consolidate tactical, theater and strategic intelligence functions to support the U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe. Military intelligence is essential to support the missions of these commands. The CIC is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2015 and will be operated consistent with applicable laws and international agreements.

About us: U.S. Army Europe is uniquely positioned to advance American strategic interests across Eurasia and has unparalleled capability to prevent conflict, shape the environment and, if necessary, win decisively. The relationships we build during more than 1000 theater security cooperation events in more than 40 countries each year lead directly to support for multinational contingency operations around the world, strengthen regional partnerships, and enhance global security.
