U.S. forces members in Europe can see top-ranked U.S. women’s soccer team in training

HEIDELBERG, Germany --Members of the U.S. forces community in Europe have a chance to watch the number-one-rated U.S. women’s soccer team train here, June 30.

The team, in Germany for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, has opened the doors of its two-hour training session at Sportzentrum Heidelberg-Sued – the sports complex adjacent to Patton Barracks -- to U.S. forces members. The event session starts at 11 a.m. at Harbigweg 11/1.

Bring your “Go Team USA” signs, jerseys and spirit -- spectators may be filmed for broadcast during the team’s games on ESPN.
