HEIDELBERG, Germany -- The Army Mentorship Program is a voluntary, web-based program that promotes mentorship by linking mentors and mentees and providing training videos and literature that teaches the concepts of mentorship.

Army mentorship is the voluntary and developmental relationship that exists between a person of greater experience and a person of lesser experience that is characterized by mutual trust and respect. Studies have shown that mentoring relationships can help individuals with personal and professional growth by improving their leadership and interpersonal and technical skills.
