HEIDELBERG, Germany -- U.S. Army Europe is considering starting a “Best Officer” competition along the lines of the Best Warrior Competition recently concluded in Grafenwoehr, Germany.

The competition would give company grade officers, 2nd Lieutenant through Captain, the chance to compete in multiple tasks and be named “Best Officer” for U.S. Army Europe. The goal of the competition is to help leaders keep their skills up to date and their minds sharp.

USAREUR would like you to go to their Facebook site www.facebook.com/usarmyeurope and submit tasks you think officers should have to complete during this competition. The goal is to hold the competition in late fall or early winter.
