MISSION

Plan, coordinate, and direct theater level ASCC Title 10 responsibilities and safety operations responsive to the USAREUR Commanders strategic goals, meeting the requirements of AR 385-10

- Provide theater specific accidental loss prevention policy and programs

- Assist commanders with hazard identification, risk analysis and mitigating actions

- Provide actionable accident risk assessment and courses of action to the right action points in advance of actual incidents.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

- Methodically identify and reduce risk within the USAREUR area of responsibility.

- Fully integrate within G3 to ensure all aspects of training and operations have adequate early assessment and operational coverage.

- Exercise and evaluate composite risk management in all training and exercises.

- Provide efficient Title 10 safety designated and delegated functions for US forces in the COCOM area of responsibility.

- Professionally develop a multifunctional safety staff at the headquarters and across formations.
