Swift Response 2018 is an annual, U.S. Army Europe-led exercise focused on allied airborne forces’ ability to quickly and effectively respond to crisis situations as an interoperable, multi-national team. The exercise takes place in in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland and includes elements of the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, N.C., and the Texas Army National Guard Battalion assigned to our 173rd Airborne Brigade conducting airborne operations and air assaults in several of the training areas.
